Directions for use: Avamys
When using the nasal spray Avamys, follow these directions:
- Gently blow your nose.
- Shake the device well.
- Take the cap off.
To use, prime the device by pressing and releasing the mist-release button 6 times or until a fine mist is sprayed from the nozzle. Remove the cap before priming.
Prime the device only when:
- Using a new device for the first time.
- You have not used the product for 30 days or longer.
- The cap has been left off the device for 5 days or longer.
- The device was accidentally dropped to make sure it has not been damaged.
- Tilt your head forward slightly.
- Place the nozzle in the nostril.
- Hold the device as shown in the illustration.
- Point the end of the nozzle toward the outside of your nostril.
- Firmly press the mist-release button once, while gently breathing in through your nose.
- Take the nozzle out of your nose.
- Breathe out through your mouth.
- Repeat in the other nostril.
- Wait at least 15 minutes before blowing your nose.
- After each use, wipe the nozzle with a dry tissue.
- Put the cap back on the device.
- Once a week, clean the inside of the cap with a dry tissue.
Never share a nasal aerosol.
