Directions for use: suppositories
Suppositories are designed to dissolve at body temperature, thus releasing the medication into your system for absorption. To insert the product properly, follow these guidelines:

- Wash your hands with soap and water.
- Remove the suppository from its package.
- To make it easier to insert, apply a small amount of lubricant on the suppository or place the suppository under cold running water for a few seconds.

Insertion while lying down:
- Lie on your left side and bring your right leg forward, bending it slightly, to stay balanced.
- Insert the suppository in your rectum, pushing it toward your navel.
- Squeeze the buttocks for a few minutes to ensure the suppository dissolves in the body.
- Wash your hands with soap and water.

Insertion while standing:
- Bend one of your legs up.
- Insert the suppository in your rectum, pushing it gently toward your navel.
- Squeeze the buttocks for a few minutes to ensure the suppository dissolves in the body.

- Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water.
Suppositories can be stored at room temperature or in the refrigerator. Not sure how to store yours? Ask your pharmacist.
